Super Sunday Recap

Wow. What a game. It had a little bit of everything. Last week, I predicted a Chiefs victory after trailing by ten points. I will confess, I told my wife KC was in trouble near the end of the third quarter as the 49ers were just about to score. My wife told me not to lose faith, and I guess she was right.

I was impressed by the 49ers offense and defense early on. In the end, though, I think San Francisco had to settle for too many field goals. I believe if they had been more aggressive, they’d probably feel a lot better. I don’t know whether or not they would have won, but I think it would have been a better strategy. Either way, I think they have to talent to contend for a lot more championships in the coming years. They just have to get over this.

As far as Kansas City, my hat is off to them. They battled through all the adversity and got to the top of the mountain. They were tough when they had to be and they made the plays to win it. They made every play when they needed to make it. I think they have the best player in the entire league, and they will be a team to watch for many years. Also, I’m a bit of an Andy Reid fan, so congratulations to him.

Overall, I thought it was a great game that was befitting of ending the 100th season of the NFL. I can’t wait for August to get here so we can see what next year brings us. Thanks for reading.

  1. KC have the best player in the league but he had a terrible SB. He looked nervous I thought Williams maybe should have got the MVP. Still a great game, one of the best Superbowls that will be remembered for a long time. Next year Lamar Jackson should improve and give Mahomes a run for MVP. Future looking bright for the NFL and that snake Jay Z

  2. Yo just rewatched hghlights of SB and I changed my mind on previous post. Just for the throw and call on third down and fifteen in fourth he gets MVP all day

    1. Yeah. He definitely had a bad first three quarters but those last 9 minutes were pure magic. I wouldn’t have been surprised if Williams won MVP though. He was their most consistent player. I’m just excited that these young quarterbacks are stepping up like this. The NFL is gonna be fun to watch with these guys.
