Hello everyone. Happy Saturday and once again, I hope you are all healthy. As the calendar begins to turn from May to June, I realized that I have a couple of upcoming milestones in my life.
The one that will happen first is that my wife and I will celebrate ten years of marriage. It isn’t always easy, especially when we’re writing together, but I wouldn’t trade any of it. I love her so much and can’t wait for another ten. We’re thinking of taking a drive and checking out some of the waterfalls around the state of Wisconsin. She’d also like to get back and camp at Devil’s Lake near Wisconsin Dells, but that happens to be in the opposite direction of most of the scenic waterfalls. One of those wait and see moments, I suppose.
The second milestone is kind of a two parter. The first part is May 28th, which will be my daughter last day of high school. She will graduate on August 12th, though we don’t know what kind of ceremony it will be yet. Even though no one I am close to has contracted the coronavirus, it has still impacted my life to a degree. I may not get to see my daughter walk across stage, but I know there have been others who have missed it. As bad as it is for the seniors this year, it’s gonna be one heck of a story for their children. I wish my daughter, and all the other graduates this year, the best. I think they’ve done a commendable job navigating through this and keeping their focus.
Anyway, I had just wanted to share those few things with you. As always, I’ll talk to you next week. Stay healthy and keep reading.
