Hello everyone. Hopefully the past week has been a good one for you. There were a few notable things happening for me this past week and one thing will change up the weekly column here.
First, I had a nice Father’s Day. My wife and children put together a little collage of myself and the kids as they were growing up. It was a touching gift that means more than they think. My two daughters, aged 18 and 13, also wrote me letters telling me how much I mean to them. We also went for a hike and got a family picture at Cave Point County Park up in Door County Wisconsin. It offers beautiful views and is our go to place for scenery. After that, we went to my parent’s house for a cookout, which is a yearly tradition. We were able to get a picture of my parents with all their grandchildren, with all their children, and then with the entire family all together. Yes, my wife has a thing for photography. I think she has a real eye for it. All in all, it was a fantastic day that makes me appreciate what I have.
The second thing this week that is notable was a change to this weekly column. Starting in the near future, we will begin releasing short parts of stories we are working on. The stories will be written by myself, my wife, and my brother. I think it will be interesting because we all have different styles, but that just makes us push ourselves creatively. We’re excited to bring you guys some quality stories, so stay tuned.
Well, that’s enough for today. I hope you guys have a safe and healthy week. As always, thank you for reading. Talk to you guys later.
