The Pack Pick: Jacksonville

Hello everyone and welcome to the Pack Pick. This week we will analyze the Packers upcoming matchup with their next AFC foe, the Jacksonville Jaguars.

Green Bay got back on the winning track last week, beating up on an undermanned 49ers squad. It wasn’t a true revenge game, but the team should feel good about going across country and winning on a short week. I honestly thought about changing my pick last week after hearing how many more people San Francisco was going to be without, but decided to stand by my pick. I’m glad I was wrong. Green Bay did what it was supposed to do, and enter the second half of the year at 6-2.

Jacksonville, meanwhile, is a complete mess. They have one of the worst records in the entire league, and they are clearly in rebuild mode. Some weeks, though, they are mildly competitive. Either way, however, this team is inconsistent at best.

This game should go the Packers way. Jacksonville is unsettled at many positions, including starting their back up quarterback for the second straight game. I hope Green Bay takes this game seriously, although Jacksonville doesn’t have a game changer like Dalvin Cook on their team. The Packers have a rolling Aaron Rodgers and a borderline unstoppable Davante Adams. I expect the Packers to win again this week, continuing their win streak before getting on to tougher games on the schedule.
